Korean Churches in Washington Work Together to Share the Gospel in Mattawa

Seven Korean churches in Washington state, including Young Nak Church of Seattle, Seattle Covenant Church, Korean Kirkland Covenant Church, Seattle Woori Church, Trinity Presbyterian Church, and Bellevue Sarang Church, formed one mission team to share the gospel to people in the town of Mattawa, WA, from July 28 to 31.

The congregation of Thanksgiving Church, a Korean immigrant church located in Buena Park, CA, has voted to transfer its membership from a Korean district council to an American district in the Assemblies of God denomination. 97.89 percent of the congregation (882 in favor, 19 against) voted in favor of transferring its membership during a special business meeting held on July 31, the church announced on Saturday.

Oriental Mission Church, which has come alongside the history of Koreatown, celebrated its 46th anniversary with a concert on Sunday. The concert, which took place on July 17 at 1:30 PM, featured various musical numbers, including a choir group, a saxophone performance, and songs by two Korean Christian singers.
