On Sunday, the 17th of February, Glory Church of Jesus Christ (GCJC) had its third week of their Involvement Fair after every worship, where congregates could walk through different booths to look at the diverse departments, teams and ministries which they could serve and participate in.
People began gathering outside in the parking lot of Glory Church of Jesus Christ in Los Angeles carrying various kinds of equipment, tables, posters, and even food as early as 6:30 am to set up booths. This week it was the drama team, media team, and the education ministry and retreat ministry to display how they glorify God in their respective groups. All the different teams set up creative and unique decorations as well as gifts to attract the congregation of GCJC.
Perhaps one of the most popular booths was that of the GCJC Media team. In their booth they had set up a screen with a projector where they had connected one of the cameras they used in service to let church members experience being a cameraman. They even had people come and participate in a live “radio show” where the setting looked just like a radio studio where current members would interview potential new workers.
The event was closed after the last worship which ended at 3pm, and many of the church workers were excited at the fact that some people had expressed interest and signed up.
