There is news that a “Christian Mingle The Movie” is being made and is scheduled to be released in theaters in October. Corbin Bernsen, the writer and director of this new feature film however, reassured the public that the movie is not an advertisement for christianmingle.com, the popular Christian dating site.
"You might ask why do include 'the movie' in the title? One of my first jobs is to let everyone know that this is a pure, straight up Romantic Comedy and NOT an ad or paid promotional piece for Christian Mingle.com – the popular dating website," Bernsen declared in a post on his Facebook page Friday. The filmmaker expressed great gratitude for christianmingle.com for allowing the crew to use their name and play a crucial role in the plot.
The main characters are Gwenyth Hayden played by actress Lacey Chabert and Paul Wood played by Jonathan Patrick Moore. Gwenyth the protagonist is a woman who becomes desperate to find a boyfriend and makes an account on christianmingle.com. This howeer, meant she had to tell a big lie: she was not a believer. Through the site she meets Paul Wood.
As the story goes on all her attempts to impress her “Mr. Right” However all her attempts to impress Paul fail when he calls out on her “faux faith”. In the end, Gwenyth realizes how superficial her life really was and later declares to develop a personal relationship with God.
