The upcoming episode of Criminal Minds, titled Breath Play, is promised to feature an action packed installment as the Behavioral Analysis Unit engages in an intense and gut wrenching investigation into the crimes committed by an UnSub described to possess a "sick and homicidal" fantasies, according to Cartermatt.com.
The UnSub is categorized as a serial killer following a number of incidents linking the suspect to the torture and murder of victims who underwent extreme conditions before their demise. The killer dubbed the torturous experiences as his own version of "50 shades of pain" fantasy, which included sexual abuse. As per the typical routine of the team, they will be striving to determine the common grounds that connect the victims with one another in order to figure out the pattern of the UnSub.
"The BAU is called to Wisconsin in search of a serial killer, and the team looks for a connection among the victims for clues to the UnSub. Also, Kate has trouble dealing with her niece, Meg, when she begins acting out," the synopsis for the upcoming episode revealed.
With regard the latter portion of the said summary, it appears that Jennifer Love Hewitt's character will be given more attention as the personal life of Kate Callahan will once again be the focus of the show's sub plot. An earlier report disclosed that Kate will be facing an upcoming full blown teenage rebellion courtesy of her niece, Meg, following their arguments regarding online sharing of personal information and pictures. In addition, another report revealed that Meg might be in trouble as an online stalker seem to have taken interest in her activities.
Apart from Meg's looming teenage drama that will definitely affect the Callahan household, the real life pregnancy of Love-Hewitt might be incorporated in the script of the show's future episodes. Although this news has yet to receive confirmation from the official members of the series, some fans speculate that the entire Kate-Meg debacle might be used to pave the way towards the announcement of the pregnancy.
