Siloam Korean School celebrated the end of its first semester on December 6. The students, who had been sharpening their Korean skills for the past several months, were able to show off their improvement to their parents during the event. Atlanta Korean Pastor’s Association’s recent “Jesus’ Healing and Health Seminar” wrapped up successfully on Monday. On Monday, October 6, from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM, the seminar took place at Atlanta Bethany United Methodist Church, and specifically discussed: the healing and health that God desires for us; how we can receive healing from God; a life with a thorn in the flesh; and the healthy lifestyle that God is pleased with. Holy Spirit Presbyterian Church, located in Atlanta, held a youth revival conference from October 3 to 5 focusing on identity in Christ. The conference, themed ‘The Born Identity,’ took place in five different locations over the three days of the conference, and Pastor Jun Sik Hwang from New Life Covenant Church in Chicago was featured as the main speaker of the conference.READ MORE
At the 2014 Gospelization Conference, Pastor In Hwa Park from New Song Church in Dallas was invited to speak at one of the seminars, during which he decided to focus on the idea of what one would find if an autopsy was performed on the deceased church. Pastor Park mentioned in his seminar that in the Southern Baptist Convention, of which New Song Church is a part, 800 churches will be closing down, and emphasized the seriousness of the issue.READ MORE
