Development firm Turn 10 Studios has just released the new December DLC, also known as the Mobil 1 Car Pack, for the racing game "Forza Motorsport 6."
The latest content update comes with a total of seven new cars including the most requested 2015 Koensigsegg One: 1.
According to VG247, the DLC is now available and can be purchased for $7. However, owners of the Car Pass for "Forza Motorsport 6" will be able to get their hands on the latest DLC for free.
As announced by Turn 10 Studios through the game's official website, the Mobile 1 Car Pack adds seven new vehicles to the playable roster of "Forza Motorsport 6."
This includes the 2016 Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupe, which won't hit the streets of the U.S. until 2017. Another car featured in the latest content update is the 1990 Chevrolet #30 Douglas Shierson Racing Lola T90/00. This is the same car that professional racer Arie Luyendyk drove to win 1990s Indianapolis 500s. With this car, Luyendyk was able to set a record at that time by reaching an average speed of 185.981 miles per hour.
Other cars featured in the DLC are the 1963 Ferrari 250LM, the 1988 Holden VL Commodore Group A SV, 1991 Mazda #62 Mazda Motorsport RX-7 and the classic 1958 Plymouth Fury, IGN reported.
Lastly, probably the most high-profile car included in the DLC is the 2015 Koenigsegg One: 1. This model got its name due to its impressive 1:1 power to weight ratio. As explained by the developers, this 1,360-kilogram sports car has a horsepower of 1,341.
Driving tests indicate that the 2015 Koensigsegg One: 1 can go from zero to 250 miles per hour in 20 seconds. This car's brother, the Koenigsegg Agera R, was featured in the 2014 live-action film adaptation of the "Need for Speed" game series.
"One of the most requested cars by the 'Forza' community, the Koensigsegg One: 1 offers speed and acceleration that most never knew was possible," Turn 10 Studios wrote in the game's website.
"This rocket ship with wheels intends to set a new lap record at the Nurburgring once management at the famous racing venue allows lap records to be set again," the company continued in the vehicle's description. "With each of the six $2.4 million hypercars already sold, getting a hand on the wheel of this ultra-exotic in 'Forza Motorsport 6' is the closes the rest of us may get."
