After a new trailer was released for ‘Teen Wolf’ Season 5B, things are seemingly getting worse in Beacon Hills especially with the arrival of the gigantic villain known as The Beast.

Also called the La Bete by the Dread Doctors, the new antagonist was first teased in the final episode of season 5A, when these evil medics had torn down a rock wall and revealed an image of two massive beasts in combat.

According to series executive producer Jeff Davis, one of the beasts in the mural was a Hellhound, and despite not dropping any name for the other creature, fans are assuming that it is The Beast.

As pointed out in the one-and-a-half minute video, the monstrous creature can be considered as "history's most vicious, most famous werewolf." The clip clearly reveals the villain’s enormous size, hair-raising nails featured in the trailer and glowing white eyes.

Compared to the Dread Doctors’ other teenage experiments, The Beast had been a successful chimera, thereby possessing more power and strength than the rest. As for Scott (Tyler Posey), he is expected to call for help from Theo (Cody Christian) to triumph over the large creature.

In the trailer that debuted at the New York Comic Con, Theo seems to be offering a truce to Scott for them to team up and take down The Beast together.

"Your pack and mine, we're going to be fighting for our lives," Theo says to Scott in the previous trailer.

Meanwhile, fans of Dylan O’Brien, who plays Stiles Stilinski on the hit MTV series, confirmed that he will not be saying goodbye to ‘Teen Wolf’ any time soon despite rumors claiming that the actor will be leaving the show.

Although the ‘Maze Runner: Scorch Trials’ actor will come back for the sixth season, Davis has already faced the possibility of O’Brien exiting the series sometime in the future because of his budding career as a movie star.

"Cast shakeups happen more and more with every show these days. So, you never know," Davis told Forbes magazine after the show’s New York Comic Con panel in October. "The networks used to sign people up for seven seasons. The idea was, you can't lose anyone. Nowadays, it's who can you kill off next? It's very different."

‘Teen Wolf’ season 5B is set to premiere on Tuesday, Jan. 5, at 9.p.m. on MTV. The new trailer can be viewed below:
