Actress Katelyn Nacon is keeping mum when it comes to her character Enid’s rumored association with The Wolves. In ‘The Walking Dead’ season six, episode two, titled ‘JSS,’ Enid walked out of Alexandria at almost the same time that the other members of the villainous group went away.
Due to the coincidental timing of Nacon’s character, many of the show’s viewers believe that she could be a member of the vicious group of survivors. However, when the 16-year-old actress recently opened up about Enid's decision to depart the walled community, she did not mention The Wolves at all.
"I think her main plan was just to get away from Alexandria because it was getting really messed up there at that time," Nacon said in an interview with Wetpaint. "One thing she really does is run away from her problems, it's kind of a defense mechanism, so I think that was her main focus when she ran away."
In addition, although many viewers remain suspicious of Enid, Nacon previously shared on ‘Talking Dead’ that fans will be “pleasantly surprised" with her character the next time she appears in a new episode. Her comments have somehow gave way to a fan theory claiming that Enid will be the one to save Glenn (Steven Yeun) from his seemingly tragic fate in last Sunday's episode, titled ‘Thank You.’
However, when asked about such hope-filled speculation, she responded: "I didn't even know Glenn died in the next episode because I haven't gotten the scripts since I haven't been in the episodes because she's gone."
Finally, Nacon admitted that she is not completely aware of future scenes in the upcoming episodes. Nonetheless, the actress admitted that she is thrilled with the notion of Enid becoming a hero to the well-loved original survivor.
"I like the idea of Enid being in the show a lot more so I like that theory!" she said.
According to The Spoiling Dead Fans website, Glenn’s storyline will not continue until the seventh episode of ‘The Walking Dead’ season six.
On the third episode, Steven Yeun’s character, one of the show’s original cast members, went through a seemingly horrific death as he was supposedly eaten alive by an entire horde of walkers after his companion Nicholas (Michael Traynor) shot himself in the head and knocked Glenn off the dumpster.
This has been one of the show’s most shocking deaths, if Glenn has really met an unfortunate end, despite viewers expecting the original survivor to die this season because of his fate in the comic books on which the hit zombie drama is based on.
However, Gimple previously told fans that such circumstances might suggest other things.
“In some way, we will see Glenn, some version of Glenn or parts of Glenn again, either in flashback or in the current story to help complete the story,” he said, prompting more questions among the ‘Walking Dead’ viewers, especially with the fact that Yeun’s name is already missing from the opening credits.
‘The Walking Dead’ season six airs every Sunday on AMC.
