"God who has allowed this new day -- You detest sin, and make clean all things dirty! Thank you for looking for that one person who, more than leading a successful life, can intercede and help mend areas that are damaged.
God, as I observe the heavy heart with which you searched for that one person to rebuild the temple walls in intercession so that your judgement and wrath may not consume the Israelites—for the prophets and priests, high officials, and people have all practiced injustice—I confess that there is not a single person who is set apart in this world tainted by sin and that I have not interceded, humbly and in earnest, for the depraved and corrupted church (Ezekiel 22:17-31).
May I become that one person for whom God is searching, by exerting myself to prayer and worship. Through prayer that is rooted in the Word, help me to become a vessel through which the Lord’s grace of power and blessings may be showered upon this world. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen."
