"On this refreshing morning, I give praise to God who is with me with His unchanging grace. I thank you that through grace you allow me to start anew and live in Your guidance.
Through today’s passage, I am reminded of your love that desires to bring healing and to put an end to the history of rebellions by the first and second generations in the wilderness, which continued even in the promised land (Ezekiel 20:11-29). As I observe Israel’s truly unfortunate repetitive history of sin, I confess that it is too alike with my lifestyle which falls short of the grace of God. As such, with your abundant grace and abounding love, create in me a pure heart.
May I hold true to the fact that God’s glory is my glory. I pray that I may lead a holy and pure life that lives up to the Lord’s grace and love, putting an end to the recurring vicious cycle of disobedience and rebellion. I earnestly ask that I may live as a child who befits God’s glory and honor. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen."
