No one will suffer more in "iZombie" season 2 more than Liv Moore's former flame Major Lilywhite, and because of his inner turmoil, he will eventually have a major confrontation with Liv.

"He will hit rock bottom," the show's creator Rob Thomas revealed to Collider. "That's the journey that he's going on. He's doing this horrible thing and can't quite stand himself. We have a scene that I really adore, in which he officially hits rock bottom. Major will know that he's made it all the way down, but that's a few episodes away."

Because of his intent to keep himself and Liv alive, Major will take out zombies. But good-natured Major does not enjoy killing, and he will deal with its repercussions for a long time.

"It's going to be a moral crisis for him. It will tear him apart, and it doesn't get any easier for him, for a long time," said Thomas. "He's not just going to sit back and take it, all season. At some point, he's got to figure out how to turn the tables on Max Rager. You won't watch 22 episodes of him forlornly going about this task."

In a way, Major blames Liv for his current predicament, and this is why he will be ignoring Liv for the first couple of episodes and it will prove too much for Liv to handle since she still cares about him a great deal.

"We were excited about the moment that Liv and Major have it out. He certainly doesn't want anything to do with her, at the beginning of the season, and at a certain point, not too far down the road, she will have had enough and will confront him. That's one of the things we wanted to build towards early," shared Thomas.

For now, the only one who does not know about Liv's secret life is Detective Clive Babineaux, and Thomas agrees that it is very ironic that it's the detective who is oblivious to the truth.

"It's already one of those things that I see tweeted out with, 'How could Clive not figure this out?!' But, would you figure out that these were zombies? Maybe if you lived in a TV world, you might," reasoned Thomas. "Maybe at some point, we'll know it's time to shut that down, but right now, we just enjoy Clive sitting there when Liv is on some strange brain."
