"God of amazing love and abundance of grace! I thank you that out of compassion, you redeemed me, even though I was so engrossed in the world. Thank you that you lead me to the holy path, the path to life, day by day.
For you remembered your first promise after inflicting judgment upon Judah. You poured out your compassion and established an everlasting covenant (Ezekiel 16:53-63). God, You overpower sin, and I realize that the restoring grace you provide is your wholesome love and compassion.
God, who gives us—the weak and lacking—another chance, and works to restore us completely, I receive today’s word with hallelujah and amen. Would you help us to live a holy life empowered by God’s grace and love which overpowers sin, I pray that we may no longer waste away and taint our precious lives.
Today, as I strive to rely on God’s love and grace, to keep true to God’s promise by maintaining spiritual purity, and to live life faithfully, I pray in Jesus’ name. Amen."
