Bruce Wayne attempts to hack into his father’s computer files to find out the truth behind his parents’ murders. Alfred, the butler breaks the computer before Bruce learns the truth. Bruce angrily fires Alfred. ‘Gotham’ Season 2 Episode 2 “Knock Knock” aired on Monday, Sept. 28 at FOX 8|7c.
In “Knock Knock,” Alfred agrees to teach and train Bruce in combat skills, so that Bruce will survive when he encounters his parents’ killer. Bruce decides to not fire Alfred. Lucius Fox is hired by Alfred to fix the broken computer, so that they can gain more clues behind the murders.
Meanwhile, Theo Galavan kidnaps the mayor of Gotham city. Hell breaks loose as escapees from Arkham band together and call themselves The Maniax. The Maniax go on a killing spree throughout Gotham, murdering civilians and policeman to gain media publicity.
The gang break into the Gotham City Police Department, which results in the deaths of Commissioner Essex and many cops. Edward Nygma and his love interest Kristen Kringle survive the massacre. Harvey Bullock, who quit the GCPD, decides to rejoin in order to put an end to The Maniax.
