It would surprise fans to know that even the cast of "Scream Queens" don't know who the real killer is in the show. Only show creator Ryan Murphy knows the secret, and it's a fact that is driving everybody involved in the show nuts.

Lea Michele, who plays neck brace Hester in "Scream Queens" told Entertainment Weekly in an interview that the other members of the show are actually suspicious that her character's the one going on a killing spree.

"Everyone thinks it's me right now. I sometimes think it's me," she said.

But one thing Michele is certain of is that the killer is a girl, since the show is all about girl power and unity.

"I think that it's all about the girls here, which is why I think that the killer is a girl and it's why I think that the hero is a girl," she said.

The actress describes Hester as "super freaky deaky," especially because of her obsession with Chanel's boyfriend Chad.

"But at the end of the day, what I really like about her, is that she's super obsessed with Chad, like 100 percent, but she's all about these girls. There is such a great story line coming up later in the show that really brings Emma (Roberts) and I together and pushes the boys aside in a sense and brings us girls together," she said. "I read the script the other day and I wrote Ryan and I was just like, 'This girl power is so strong.' He's so good with being funny but then really driving home the true message."

Michele said that Murphy did the exact same thing in "Glee," and she appreciates the fact that it's being done again in "Scream Queens."

"'Glee' had its incredible moments," she mulled. "It was the highest of highs and some of the lowest lows. And I don't say that in an incredibly dramatic way, it's just the reality. I right now am currently in a wonderfully happy place in my life, like truly beyond. But to also have this incredible project, it's such a blessing. I couldn't be more grateful."

Michele also said that if her character dies in the first season of "Scream Queens," she will still find a way to be a part of the show because she has grown to love it so much.

"I'll come back as a ghost and be ghost Hester," she teased.
