As ‘Supernatural’ season 11 nears its premiere date, its stars have already begun breaking down the upcoming episodes, including one which sheds a little more light on the Impala.
Episode four of season 11, which will be titled ‘Baby,’ will revolve around that other special Winchester sibling.
“It’s done in a very clever Supernatural way, mind you, but episode four is a very cool episode,” actor Jared Padalecki said. “It’s all about the Impala. We’ve had this third lead character for 10 seasons strong and, we’re not revealing a personality, but we see just how much a part of the Winchesters’ lives it is.”
When it comes to details, although there have been few, fans can certainly look forward to a car-wash scene.
As pointed out by Padalecki, there will be a few more traditional ‘Supernatural’ moments that should be expected.
“[There’s] a bit of everything: the obligatory Sam-and-Dean-talk-over-the-hood-of-the-Impala, or Sam-and-Dean-talk-in-the-Impala,” the 33-year-old actor added.
More importantly, the said episode will draw attention to the Impala’s incredible journey all throughout the show.
“You kind of see the Impala in work in all these scenes from seasons past where we haven’t necessarily know where it is or known how it got there. You see just how crucial a character it is," he added.
Meanwhile, Padalecki and his costar Jensen Ackle recently answered fan’s questions as to what can be expected in the next season.
When asked about their sibling relationship, Ackles discussed how the characters will be united once more as they fight the same target during a major apocalyptic event.
Comparing season 11 to the previous installments, the former ‘Smallville’ actor referred to the upcoming season as a “bit of a throwback to maybe season one or season two,” when the brothers fought less and had often teamed up to fight for humanity as a duo.
When asked whether viewers can still enjoy fun episodes with a lighter tone in season 11, Ackles was keen in responding with: “Oh yeah, after all it is a show that really made its mark at how we balanced the dark episodes with the light episodes and everything in between.”

Because of The Darkness, a new monster that surrounded Sam and Dean at the end of season 10, the Almighty God is also set to appear in the new episodes.
‘Supernatural’ season 11 is set for a premiere on Oct. 7 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
