Taeyeon Kim of Girls’ Generation (SNSD) will perform in her first solo concert at SM Town Coex Artium in Seoul, South Korea on Oct. 23, 2015. The concert series is called Taeyeon’s Very Special Day. Taeyeon is also releasing her first solo music album in Fall 2015.
KPopStarz reported that ticket sales for Taeyeon’s Very Special Day will begin on Sept. 23 at 8 p.m. KST through Yes24. The concert dates are Oct. 23 to Oct. 25 and Oct. 31 to Nov. 1.
Taeyeon began training for SM Entertainment when she was thirteen years old. She attended SM Academy and was signed to SM after winning a contest. She is the leader of SNSD, and a member of two other SM bands; TaeTiSoo and SM the Ballad. Her fourteen years of hard work and dedication has paid off. She continues to pursue her dreams and presses forward to reach higher goals in her music career.
Girls’ Generation, also known as SNSD is an eight-member girl group which formed in 2007 with S.M. Entertainment. SNSD is currently promoting ‘Lion Heart’ on various music shows and concerts. The members of SNSD are Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Yoona, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Seohyun, and Sooyoung.
SNSD’s subgroup is called TaeTiSoo (TTS), a group of three members: Taeyeon (26), Tiffany (26), and Seohyun (24). TTS is on break, as two of its members Taeyeon and Tiffany are preparing to release individual solo albums in Fall 2015. TTS plans to release new music in December.
SM the Ballad is a group of ballad singers. They released their first music album entitled, ‘Miss You’ in 2010 and their second album ‘Breath’ in 2014. Its current members are Taeyeon from SNSD, Max Changmin from TVXQ, Yesung from Super Junior, Zhou Mi from Super Junior-M, Jonghyun from SHINee, Krystal from f(x), Chen from EXO, and Zhang Liyin. Past members of the group are Jay Kim from Trax, Kyuhyun from Super Junior, and Jino.
