“Good For You” singer Selena Gomez was spotted on the set of ‘Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising’ with Zac Efron, Dave Franco and Chloë Grace Moretz on Friday, Sept. 4. The sequel’s plot involves Mac and Kelly teaming up with the Delta Psi fraternity against their new next door neighbors; sorority girls. The only question is, what role is she playing in the comedy film?
Gomez was all smiles on the set of ‘Neighbors 2’ on Friday. She was dressed in a tight, strapless pink ombre dress. Gomez wore a set of long feather chandelier earrings that matched her outfit. She was sitting atop a bright red Volkswagen buggy and was surrounded by young women dressed in all white, wearing a crown of daisies on their heads.
‘Neighbors 2’ stars Seth Rogen as Mac Radner, Zac Efron as Teddy Sanders, Rose Byrne as Kelly Radner, Dave Franco as Pete Regazolli, Chloë Grace Moretz, Carla Gallo, Ike Barinholtz, Beanie Feldstein, Kiersey Clemons, and Selena Gomez. The film will be directed by Nicholas Stoller. The producers are Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and James Weaver.
The script was written by Andrew J. Cohen, Brendan O’Brien, Nicholas Stoller, Seth Rogen, and Evan Goldberg. Its production companies are Point Grey Pictures and Good Universe. ‘Neighbors 2’ is distributed by Universal Pictures. ‘Sorority Rising’ hits theaters on May 20, 2016.
Gomez opened up to her Twitter followers on Friday, by talking about her past insecurities.
“I was always insecure with my speaking voice because it’s so low. I never felt like it was feminine-sounding,” wrote 23-year-old Gomez. “I didn’t know it would be such an asset to who I am now, though. It adds a cool, personal quality. It’s exciting.”
Regardless of Gomez’ deep voice, she is enjoying great success with both her acting and singing career. Her third studio album, “Revival” is set to drop in 2015.
