Wisdom is essential to the life of a Christian believer. An example of its importance is found in 2 Chronicles 1, when God asked King Solomon what he wanted. Solomon desired wisdom above wealth, possessions, honor, long life, and the death of his enemies. Apostle James wrote in an epistle of the New Testament that anyone who lacks wisdom can receive it from God, “who gives generously to all without finding fault.” Christianity Daily compiled a list of Bible verses on wisdom.
