Sony has revealed the complete lineup of free games that will be available for PlayStation Plus members next month.
The list includes "Grow Home," which was selected as the winner of the company's Vote to Play program.
Aside from "Grow Home," the list includes "Super Time Force Ultra," "Teslagrad," "Xeodrifter," "Twisted Metal" and "La Mulana EX."
The first four games will be available for the PlayStation 4 while "Teslagrad" and "Twisted Metal" can be played by PlayStation 3 owners. "La Mulana EX" and "Xeodrifter" will be available as free games for the PlayStation Vita.
The arrival of "Grow Home" for the PlayStation 4 will mark the game's official debut for the console. It was first released by developer Ubisoft on February 4 for the Microsoft Windows.
As an adventure platform game, it follows the story of a robot as it tries to save its planet by oxygenating it through planting.
The game was chosen as the winner of the Vote to Play initiative launched by Sony this month. As for the other two games that were part of the program, namely "Zombie Vikings" and "Armello," these can be purchased with a 30 percent discount by PlayStation Plus members from September 1 to 15.
It is not yet clear when Sony will launch the Vote to Play program again but as the company noted, the initiative will not be a monthly offering.
"To be clear, Vote to Play will not be a monthly feature, but will take place at regular intervals throughout the year," Sony wrote on the PlayStation Blog Europe. "We love to listen to our members - and we're really excited to launch this new exclusive feature."
Based on the company's statements, PlayStation Plus subscribers might get the chance to vote for another free game next month for the service's lineup in October.
As for the other games that will be available in September, "Teslagrad" is a 2D side-scrolling platform game that features puzzles and action elements. In the game, players take on the role of a young boy who goes against the king to save the Kingdom of Elektropia.
"Xeodrifter," on the other hand, takes players on different alien planets as part of their mission to find a way back home. "La Mulana EX" is an updated version of the game that first came out in 2005 and features an Indiana Jones-type of character as the main protagonist.
In "Super Time Force Ultra," players get to go back in time to take on various enemies while "Twisted Metal" pits modified cars against one another in an all out vehicle-based combat.
