Daenerys Targaryen's storyline in "Game of Thrones" season five has been pretty exciting, given her formidable alliance with Tyrion Lannister. Actress Nathalie Emmanuel, who plays Khaleesi's lady-in-waiting Missandei in the series could not agree more, and she even teased that more characters will be presented in the sixth season that will definitely liven up the show.

Speaking in V Festival's Virgin Media Louder Lounge over the weekend, she said: ''I guess this season definitely has a lot of momentum, you feel that from the beginning. 'I think the fans are going to suddenly be seeing even more characters... interacting with characters they haven't seen them interact with before."

''We had a bit of that in the last season, but it kicks up a bit more this season so it's pretty exciting," she added.

There are several interesting characters in "Game of Thrones," and of course, people have their own favorites. For Emmanuel, she cannot help but root for Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) and Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), and she feels so fortunate that her storyline coincides with theirs.

"You have your favourites on the show - I was a fan from the beginning and it was definitely him and Daenerys as my favourite characters. So to bring those two people together, that's really exciting," she said.

But as amazing as Tyrion is on the small screen, Emmanuel says that he is even better off-screen. ''He is incredible and such a nice man, he's so, so sweet and so much fun. It's an absolute pleasure working with him," she gushed.

When season five closed, Daenerys and Drogon are confronted by Dothraki khalasar, though it is unclear yet if they were Khal Drogo's former khalasar. Tyrion was left to rule Meereen on her behalf while Jorah Mormont and Daario go searching for their queen. Grey Worm wanted to come along, but Missandei convinced him that he is not well enough to go anywhere.

Back in King's Landing, Cersei Lannister just endured the horrific Walk of Shame and the glimmer in her eyes says that the Sparrow and his followers are in for a lot of trouble. The fate of her daughter-in-law Margaery Tyrell and her brother still remains unknown, and it was not said whether Tommen got better from his sickness.

Cersei's brother Jamie is on his way home with sad news - their daughter Myrcella has just been murdered by Ellaria Sand, paramour of Prince Oberyn Martell.

Meanwhile, Jon Snow has just been murdered by his brothers from the Night's Watch, Arya Stark lost her eyesight, and Sansa Stark and Theon Greyjoy (Reeks) have escaped from Ramsay Bolton.
