Anthony Mackie's Falcon will be playing a very important role in "Captain America: Civil War," and his involvement in the search for Bucky Barnes will be something that Steve Rogers, better known as Captain America will really appreciate.

"The relationship between the three characters is more so a bond of kindred friendship. My respect for Cap helps me to help him find Bucky because I know how much that means to him, knowing where he's come from and everything and what he's gone through to this point. It's more so of an understanding and respect than it is three guys chumming around having a good time," Mackie told MTV News.

"You've got to understand, Cap coming off the last movie, Falcon's the one guy - having known the least in terms of history - he actually trusts the most. There's a really nice kinship between these two characters and they do a really good job of picking up where we left off," he added.

A lot of other characters are searching for Bucky in Cap's standalone movie, and this includes Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark, better known as Iron Man. According to reports, Stark will be hell-bent on finding Bucky because he was responsible for his parents' death, and not even Cap can dissuade him from doing so.

There will also be a new character included in the film, but he might not have anything to do with Bucky. Marvel President Kevin Feige said that Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa, whose alter ego is the Black Panther will be introduced in "Captain America: Civil War."

He told Birth Movies Death, "The reason we introduced him in 'Civil War' is because we needed a third party. We needed fresh eyes who wasn't embedded with the Avengers and who has a very different point of view than either Iron Man or Captain America. We said, 'We need somebody like Black Panther... why don't we just use Black Panther?' That's how it went in the development process."

His character's storyline relies heavily on his royal lineage in Wakanda. His father T'Chaka rules over their kingdom, and as he prepares to step down from the throne, the leadership position will be passed on to his son T'Challa.

"It is a role that he is still in the beginning phases of taking on. It's a mantle he is only beginning to take on because his father is older," said Feige.
