‘Trainwreck’ star Amy Schumer, director Judd Apatow, and singer Glen Hansard crashed a wedding in Dublin, Ireland on Friday, Aug. 14. The trio led the wedding party in a sing-a-long, as guests crowded around them at Grogans pub.
Hansard strummed his acoustic guitar and sang “The Auld Triangle,” while Schumer and Apatow did their best to follow along. Bride Eithne McAdam, groom J.P. Swaine, wedding guests, and pub customers all chimed in to sing the merry song.
“And the auld triangle, went jingle jangle. All along the banks of the Royal Canal, on a fine spring evening, the lag lay dreaming and the seagulls were squealing high above the wall,” they sang.
Schumer sat in a seat left of the bride at a table. The bride was holding her bouquet of pink roses and was wearing her white wedding dress and veil. Schumer, Apatow and Hansard were clearly the life of the party.
Wedding guests and pub customers were crowded around them. They were watching, observing, taking photos, and recording videos with their smartphones out. One guest even stood on a chair to get a better view of the post-ceremony celebrations.
Schumer and Apatow were in Dublin for a Q&A session for ‘Trainwreck.’ The panel included Bill Hader and Vanessa Bayer.
