Since the cancellation of their family show ‘19 Kids and Counting,’ members of the Duggar clan have been scheduled to make their first official appearance in public.
While fans are no longer able to watch the famous family on the TLC network, the Duggars have evidently maintained a strong online presence by sharing regular updates on Facebook, Instragram and other official websites and personal blogs.
Michelle Duggar, together with daughters Jana and Jinger, will be paying a visit to Indianapolis, Indiana as official speakers at the COMMIT Mother/Daughter Conference from Aug. 19 to 22. The said event will be carried out at Verity University.
The COMMIT Mother/Daughter Conference aims to offer an opportunity for mothers and daughters to strengthen their bond with the Lord and with one another.
Michelle, Jana and Jinger will be reaching out to young ladies, aged 12 to 17, together with their mothers and provide encouragement for them to seek God first, to learn about His plans and to love Him with all their hearts.
Following a successful tour earlier this year, Jessa Duggar-Seewald will be returning to to tour this fall. She is set to make public appearances in the coming months during the Southern Women's Shows.
Accompanied by her husband, Ben, the mother-to-be will make four appearances: Charlotte, North Carolina on Aug. 29, Orlando, Florida on Sept. 26, Birmingham, Alabama on Oct. 10, and Jacksonville, Florida on Oct. 17.
As stated in the Southern Show's official website, guests will be given the chance to ask questions about the couple’s life as newlyweds, Jessa's experiences in pregnancy and how the Christian duo is prepping up to welcome their first-born child. Fans will also get the chance to take photos with Jessa and Ben as well as receive autographs.
The Duggar family has also been preparing for an upcoming wedding as they look forward to attend their cousin Amy's wedding ceremony on Sept. 6. The 28-year-old niece of Jim Bob and Michelle is set to exchange wedding vows with fiancé, Dillon King, following a five-month engagement.
Due to the cancellation of '19 Kids and Counting,' Amy and Dillon’s nuptials will not involve television cameras and will not be broadcast on the TLC network.
The Duggar clan can also look forward to a family reunion before the year ends as Jill and Derick Dillard are reportedly planning to return to the United States this October for a brief visit to their loved ones.
Jim Bob and Michelle’s daughter Jill, along with her husband Derick and little tot Israel, had spent the last month in Central America carrying out their missionary work within the area.
In spite of a “busy and adventurous month,” the Dillard family has reportedly discussed plans of coming back to the U.S. for a short visit, giving the Duggar grandparents a reason to look forward to October when they can hold baby Israel again.
Aside from their plan to pay the U.S. a visit in October, the Dillard couple also aims to spend the next month completing language school to be able to communicate with the people of Central America in their native language.
