With divorce rumors and announcements hounding Hollywood day after day, it comes as no surprise that every move of couples is scrutinized to no end. While other A-listers might simply brush off allegations of infidelity, such is not the case for Anna Faris and Chris Pratt. Although the "Mom" star slammed the speculations claiming that her "Jurassic World" star husband might be cheating on her, Faris could not help but be negatively affected by the tabloid headlines.

Admitting that the third party rumors had been a "little devastating" for her, Faris explained that the disappointment and hurt emanated not from the possibility of Pratt cheating on her but from the fact that some people hazarded that their marriage could be tainted by cheating scandals. "It has been a little devastating," Pratt shared, according to Fox News. She went on to say, "For us it was like, 'What the heck.' This has been blindsiding to us. We have an incredible relationship. It has been weirdly stinging."

The issue came to light when several tabloids reported on a brewing romance between the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star and Jennifer Lawrence. Pratt and the "Hunger Games Mockingjay" actress are currently working on a sci-fi film, titled "Passenger," which is set for release by 2016. The two are set to headline the project alongside Michael Sheen.

"I had always kind of believed that part of the rumors of celebrity couples were sort of true because they had never been part of my life," Faris admitted in the interview. Pratt's wife then said, "I was like, 'Oh, maybe there's a kernel of truth to that.'" However, the mother of 3-year-old Jack revealed that her faith in her husband remains solid as she fully knows how much Pratt cherishes their family life. "I am very lucky that I am with a man [who] values family," Faris stated.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight earlier this year, the "Guardians of the Galaxy" actor shared how he and wife of almost 10 years work together to ensure that their marriage does not fall apart despite their hectic work schedules. Admitting that the current workloads have them both rarely seeing each other for days, Pratt revealed that he and Faris has one simple rule: always be in contact. Regardless of the distance, time and rigidity of their schedules, both Faris and Pratt constantly find ways to touch base with each other.

"These are the work years. The gravy years are to come," explained Pratt, referring to the hectic work hours he and Faris have been keeping recently. He added, "The way we work it out is we just take at least one moment every day to be present with one another. Whether or not we're in the same room, or the same state, or even the same country, we check in, you know?"
