Jessa Duggar follows in the footsteps of her sister Jill as she continues to take to social media and share updates of her own pregnancy.
The former ’19 Kids and Counting’ star posted a photo on Instagram on Wednesday, Aug. 5 and let her followers know how far along she is in her transition from second to third trimester.
“27 weeks 3 days!” the first-time mom-to-be wrote as caption for the photo of herself wearing a pink shirt and highlighting her growing belly.
Ben Seewald’s wife has been sharing regular pregnancy updates on a weekly basis, similar to what her sister Jill did throughout her pregnancy.
Jessa broke her silence on social media following the news of her older brother Josh Duggar’s molestation scandal by posting the image of her baby-to-be last June.
“#BabySeewald makes a 1st appearance today!” Jessa shared on Instagram while posting a sonogram picture in her 19th week of pregnancy.
"Your daddy and I love you soooo much!” the reality star added. "#FirstUltrasound w/ @BenSeewald."
The mother-to-be also opened up about her experience in reaching her 20th week of pregnancy on the blog that she shares with Ben with the following update: "Baby Seewald is growing steadily and Mommy has been feeling some little, yet strong, kicks!"
The couple added: "We recently had an ultrasound, but aren't revealing our firstborn's gender yet. Can't wait to welcome this blessing from God into the world!"
The 22-year-old exchanged wedding vows with Seewald in November 2014 and announced they were expecting their first child last April.
In addition to the Duggar baby news, Josh and wife Anna also recently welcomed their fourth child, Mary Grace.
Taking to social media, Josh posted the arrival of their newborn on Twitter, including a close-up of her face. She weighed in at 7 lbs., 14 oz. and 20.5 inches long.
The Duggar family, including Josh’s parents Jim Bob and Michelle, also shared a video about Meredith's arrival.
The latest addition to the Duggar family joins older siblings including 2-year-old Marcus, 4-year-old Michael and 5-yer-old Mackynzie, who is said to be greatly thrilled about the arrival of her little sister.
"It's definitely busier the more [kids] you have," Anna told PEOPLE last year. "But it is a happy busy. There is no better way to invest my life, my body, and my time than to my children. They are a huge responsibility and a blessing. And all good things in life require work."
