‘Hunger Games’ actress Jennifer Lawrence and comedienne Amy Schumer jet-skied together while away on an island vacation on Thursday, July 30. Lawrence and Schumer made headlines, as they posted photos of themselves having a summer blast with their squad of ten women.
The squad of women swam in the sea with pool noodles and inflatables, made a human pyramid on a yacht, went jet-skiing, went bodysurfing, and ate food. Photos of their island activities were posted to Lawrence and Schumer’s personal Instagram accounts beginning Thursday. The trip ends on Saturday, Aug. 1.
Lawrence and Schumer are ten years apart. Lawrence is 24 years old and Schumer is 34. How did they meet? Apparently, the two women are fans of each other. Schumer happened to watch a Comic-Con interview of Lawrence in July 2015. Lawrence dropped Schumer’s name.
“Please donate so Amy Schumer will be Bachelorette," said Lawrence when asked by the MTV reporter about making a campaign video with sad-themed music.
Schumer was sitting down while petting a dog, when she was watching the interview on television. She suddenly perked up in giggles in response to hearing her name uttered by Lawrence. It was recorded by a friend. The comedienne later posted the video of her reaction to Instagram.
