Who will be the major characters in the "Gambit" film? Aside from Channing Tatum's Remy LeBeau, little else is known of the film's other characters, including the main villain and the lead character's love interest.

To remedy that gap, Cinema Blend has provided a list of four characters who will be playing a huge role in the "Gambit" film. The role of the villain will go to Mr. Sinister. He is described as someone in his 40s and 50s who is "elegant and intelligent," as well as "an appealing entrepreneur" with an unexpected dark side."

He is a clone-obsessed scientist who has an interesting history with Remy LeBeau, since he originally hired Gambit to steal special diaries from the Weapon X program.

Meanwhile, the female lead will go to Bella Donna Boudreaux, a 20s to early 30s female who is "beautiful, smart, tough, fiery and unpredictable."

Bella is a childhood friend of Remy LeBeau; however, despite their chemistry, their relationship is doomed from the start. Gambit is a part of the Thieves Guild while Bella's grandfather is the lead assassin of the Assassin's Guild. To solidify the two guilds' union, their fathers try to arrange their marriage, but this never materialize because of the actions of Bella's brother Julien Boudreaux.

Julien is near the same age as Bella, and he is a "malevolent potent threat" who will inherit his mother's business. Before Gambit's marriage to Bella, he challenges Gambit to a duel, but things do not go as planned.

Lastly, there's Jean-Luc LeBeau, Gambit's adopted father. He is somewhere between his 40s to 50s. He is a professional thief and a charismatic con-artist. He has been described as "warm-hearted but untrustworthy."

He took Remy LeBeau in after the young boy tried to pick his pocket, and while he raised Remy LeBeau to the best of his ability, it is generally hard to trust the leader of the Thieves Guild.

Because of his upbringing, Remy LeBeau eventually becomes incredibly skilled at hand-to-hand combat as well as card throwing. In fact, he is even known to charge playing cards and other objects with kinetic energy, therefore making them explosive projectiles.

When Gambit was first introduced to Professor X's mutants, they were initially wary of him, given his profession. In the end, however, he finally gets accepted by the mutants and even forms an on-again off-again relationship with one of their own - Rogue.
