‘Teen Wolf’ fans can look forward to meeting Stiles' (Dylan O'Brien) mother, Claudia, in this Monday's episode of the teen supernatural drama.

With Scott (Tyler Posey) and the rest of the pack members being eager to find out more about the vicious Dread Doctors who are currently bringing chaos in Beacon Hills, the group is set to follow Dr. Valack's (Steven Brand) suggestion from the fifth episode.

Subsequently, in the sixth episode titled ‘Required Reading,’ members of the pack will look into Dr. Valack's book with the intention of shedding more light into the memories of the Dread Doctors.

However, as unveiled in the synopsis for the upcoming episode, examining the book will make its readers experience a number of "strange effects."

Although it remains unclear as to what these "strange effects" are, poring over the pages of the book will bring Stiles back in time when his mother was still alive.

Claudia is known to have died during Stiles’ childhood. While the situations leading to Claudia's death have not yet been revealed, Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) mentioned in the third season that Stiles had been with his mother inside the hospital when she died.

Sheriff also added that Claudia experienced frontotemporal dementia, with her brain declining to the point of death.

Looking into the teaser trailer for the upcoming episode, it seems that Stiles could be seeing his mom in the hospital.

According to showrunner Jeff Davis, fans will have a glimpse of "a heart-wrenching scene between Stiles and his mother ... where we learn just how bad things got before her death."

Meanwhile, reading Dr. Valack’s books will cause Lydia (Holland Roden)to remember seeing the Dread Doctors when she underwent her surgery in the fourth episode.

"If they did something to me, I want to know what it is," she says in the footage.

As for Scott, he will become more distracted as Kira (Arden Cho) shows more signs of being troubled and will continue distancing herself from her boyfriend, which leads to Scott experiencing trust issues.

Executive producer Jeff Davis announced that the last episode, in which Scott confirmed that he is in love with the kitsune, will be the couple’s last sweet moment for a while.

“The rise in her power and her lack of control begins to push them apart,” Davis said in an interview with Hollywood Reporter.

‘Teen Wolf’ season 5, episode 6 will be aired on Monday, July 27 at 10 p.m. on MTV. The promo can be viewed below:
