One of the biggest secrets revealed during the "Ant-Man" film was that Dr. Hank Pym's wife Janet Van Dyne was actually the Wasp, but she sacrificed her own life and shrunk herself too much and entered the Quantum Realm - a dimension where space and time does not matter in order to save Pym's life and complete the S.H.I.E.L.D. mission at hand.

The original Ant-Man and the Wasp have a daughter together - Hope (played by Evangeline Lily), and for the longest time, she was infuriated with her father for shutting her out and refusing to reveal the real reason how her mother died.

In the end though, Pym finally confessed the secret to his daughter, and in the post-credits scene, moviegoers saw that Pym was finally ready for his daughter to become the next Wasp.

However, Paul Rudd's Ant-Man managed to enter the Quantum Realm while battling Yellowjacket but then increase in size again when he heard his daughter calling out for him, so there is a chance that Janet Van Dyne survived the Quantum Realm and appear in other Marvel films.

When Cinema Blend asked Lily what she thought of this possibility, the actress answered: "Marvel hasn't told me, but I kind of, again, fabricating my own... I think that she could be and that it could be a great, I mean, I would love to see a storyline where Hope somehow, I don't know, tries to find her mom or meets her or something happens where there's some amazing reunion. I think that would be super cool, and I have my dream casting already, for my mom."

For Lily, it would be a dream come true if Michelle Pfeiffer took on the role of Janet Van Dyne. She has been enamored with the actress ever since she played Catwoman in Tim Burton's "Batman Returns," and Lily has no doubt that Pfeiffer will captivate audiences once again as the original Wasp.

"That was my favorite of all time of all the comic book female characters, but Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman. Not just anybody or anything, not even like in the comic books, Michelle Pfeiffer," she said.

Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) President Kevin Feige has said that even though Ant-Man will be making a cameo in their next movie "Captain America: Civil War," Lily's Wasp wouldn't because she deserves to have her story develop first before teaming up with other superheroes.
