It looks like Litchfield prison in the prison comedy drama "Orange is the New Black" will be getting a slew of new faces during Season 4, thus guaranteeing a lot more crazy times for the lady inmates.
According to Ecumenical News, season three ended with lots of buses arriving at Litchfield prison, and it is presumed that these vehicles are all jam-packed with new inmates. "Orange is the New Black" producers have been busy doing casting rounds and looking for Dominican-type actresses that have not appeared on the show before. According to the casting call requirements, these actresses should have "natural hair only, no wigs, waves, extensions, dreads, twists and no unnatural colors."
A lot of people are curious if the new casting call means that Alex Vause (played by Laura Prepon) and Stella Carlin (played by Ruby Rose) will no longer be back next season. Both inmates fought for Piper Chapman's affections last season, but it looks like Alex might have been killed off during the season finale while there is no word about Stella's return yet.
Prepon hinted on her Instagram page that she might be coming back after all next season; however, fans were quick to think that her return might have to do more with flashbacks rather than continuing the storyline.
Rose, on the other hand, has been pretty vocal about her absence in "Orange is the New Black." The Australian supermodel has said that she does not know yet if Stella will return, despite her impressive debut in season three, but if she does, Rose said "it would be a pretty hefty storyline."
While Piper is on a break with Alex last season, she formed a special friendship with Stella and the two began to have an affair. However, when Stella found out that she will be released soon, she steals from Piper but Piper finds out. Surprisingly, Piper maintains her cool and she frames her lover by hiding contraband in Stella's bunk just two days before her scheduled release. The guards sorted through her items and found marijuana, cigarettes, a lighter, and several other contrabands.
Should Alex really be dead, it looks like Piper will be loveless during season four, unless Stella somehow makes a comeback and she manages to make amends with Piper. Fans will simply have to wait until next month to get all of their questions answered when "Orange is the New Black" Season 4 returns to television.
