The cast of ‘Game of Thrones’ returned to the program’s main production offices in Belfast, Northern Ireland, during the weekend to start production duties for the HBO hit series’ sixth season.

While the team behind the fantasy drama show normally keeps mum about filming details, including dates and locations, the cast members are clearly thrilled to be reunited with each other on set after taking a break in the past few months as they share selfies with each other.

The photo that generated a loud buzz this Monday morning was an image of Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, posing with Nathalie Emmanuel aka Missandei.

The co-stars took their photo in front of a souvenir shop at a Belfast airport, with Clarke captioning her Instagram post with multiple hashtags, including #seasonsixiscoming, #buckleupkids and #dragongliding.

On the ‘Game of Thrones’ TV program, which is based on George R.R. Martin’s ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’ book series, Emmanuel takes on the role of Clarke’s closest advisor. The duo has also become close pals and share special moments when not filming.

Other photos of cast members that were shared over the weekend included that of Alfie Allen (Theon/Reek), Sophie Turner (Sansa) and Maisie Williams (Arya) as well as of John Bradley (Sam), Tom Wlaschiha (Jaqen), Gemma Whelan (Yara), and Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm).

Majority of the series regulars have pointed out that Belfast has become their second home while their production team and co-workers have become family.

“There’s really nothing else, and nowhere else like it,” Clarke shared about her experiences in working on the ‘Game of Thrones’ set.

All in all, the hit fantasy drama series raked in a wide range of Emmy nominations this year and leads the TV award competition with 24 nods, bringing HBO a whopping number of 126 nominations- the highest number for any network this 2015.

These include Clarke and co-star Lena Headey, who plays Cersei Lannister, bagging a nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama.

In the midst of the exciting Emmy news for the ‘Game of Thrones’ team, Clarke opened up about what fans can look forward to in the sixth season of the hit fantasy drama series.

“It’s just go, go, go, go,” the 28-year-old actress said in an interview with LA Times. “Shocking moment to shocking moment. Epic moment to epic moment. It’s mental; it’s epic. And definitely Dany’s a part of it.
