‘The Fresh Prince of Bel Air’ actor Alfonso Ribeiro and singer Justin Timberlake broke out The Carlton while golfing in Lake Tahoe, Nevada on Friday, July 18. Ribeiro made a bad shot and Timberlake tried to cheer him up.
Ribeiro hit a bad shot at the American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament on Friday. Afterwards, the actor tossed aside his golf club to the grass beside him.
Timberlake walked up to Ribeiro and tried to cheer him up. Ribeiro reacted by breaking out The Carlton Dance, which Timberlake mirrored. The crowd of watchers cheered as they watched the duo break out in laughter.
The dance is a move that Ribeiro’s character Carlton frequently danced on ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.’ It was usually set to the song “It’s Not Unusual” by Tom Jones. Carlton was a the cousin to Will Smith’s character.
It is not the first time since the hit sitcom series that Ribeiro broke out the old signature moves. The actor brought it back during the 19th season of ABC’s ‘Dancing with the Stars.’ Ribeiro won with his partner Witney Carson.
“Congrats to @witneycarson the greatest partner, dancer, and now Choreographer I know. Emmy nomination for this dance. You are the best,” wrote Ribeiro on Friday.
Coincidentally, Carson was nominated for the Emmy awards. Ribeiro tipped his hat off to his former partner in an Instagram post. He posted a photo of the two of them.
Ribeiro appeared in the music video for “All Night,” by rock band R5. The video was uploaded on the band’s YouTube channel on Wednesday, July 8. He is also set to host ‘America’s Funniest Home Videos.’
