Talk about secretive! "Glee" stars Melissa Benoist, 26 and Blake Jenner, 22 have taken the plunge and got married - several months ago!

Hollywood Life reported that Benoist was seen sporting a thin, silver band on her wedding ring finger while attending Comic-Con in San Diego. She was out promoting her new series on CBS called "Supergirl," which would premiere on October 26.

When they confirmed news about her marriage, a source close to Benoist confirmed that the wedding already took place several months ago, and the newlyweds even enjoyed their honeymoon in Europe after Benoist was done filming for "Supergirl."

Benoist and Jenner shared photos of their trip on Instagram, but no one was on to their marriage until rec ently, when sources confirmed that their wedding was "very small with their families there."

The two met while filming "Glee" seasons four and five. Benoist played gifted singer and songwriter Marley Rose while Jenner played the jock Ryder Lynn. The two said that they hit things off right from the very start, and they eventually got engaged in 2013.

"We clicked on his first day, during a 'Born to Hand Jive' dance rehearsal," Benoist shared. "I love talking about it. Blake is amazing! The chemistry you see with Marley and Ryder is not acting."

But even though their characters had romantic chemistry and was linked for a while, things did not go well with Marley and Ryder. They went out on an awkward date and things were just not the same afterwards, since Marley was more interested in Jake Puckerman, played by Jacob Artists.

In "Supergirl," Benoist will play the title character, who also goes by the name Kara Zor-El. One of the things Benoist really likes about starring in the superhero series is that she gets to wear the "Supergirl" costume.

"The first time I put the costume on, it was a mixture of a lot of emotions. It's impossible not to feel empowered when you put it on," she told Entertainment Weekly. "You would think, 'Oh, it's silly. I'm putting on tights. I'm putting on a leotard and a skirt. There's muscles built into the suit. There's a cape. I'm going to feel like it's Halloween.' But something changes internally. I feel like a different person almost. It really is an alter ego, where I feel inspired, hopeful and empowered."

And even though Supergirl has a lot of supernatural powers, Benoist hopes that her portrayal will present the character in such a way that audiences will be able to relate to her inner strength and weaknesses.

"I want to do right by women," she said. "I want to portray someone they can relate to and look up to. I want her to be complicated and flawed."
