"The Sims 4" developer Maxis is continuing the game's summer and relaxation theme with an upcoming content update.

Dubbed as "The Sims 4 Spa Day," this pack will come with new venues and activities for gamers' Sim characters, Master Herald reported.

As its title suggests, the "Spa Day" content update will feature a spa as well as a gym. Once players get the update, these new venues will be automatically added to their My Library. They can then set these up wherever they want.

Through the spa, Sim characters can spend their time relaxing in the massage chairs or simply hang out in the sauna and mud bath. The developer noted that the mud bath comes in different variants that can produce varying moods for the Sim characters.

But aside from relaxing, gamers can also build up their characters' Wellness skill level by practicing Yoga, meditating or giving other Sims massages.

"The more they take part in these new activities, the better they'll get at each," Maxis wrote in the game's website. "Higher Wellness means new Yoga poses, the ability to give superior massages, and a special meditation surprise that we don't want to spoil for you!"

According to the developer, all of the features of the spa can be installed and accessed by gamers inside their Sims homes. These include the sauna, mud bath and meditation stools.

The "Spa Day" content update is set to be released globally on July 14.

Earlier this month, publisher Electronic Arts launched a special project for "The Sims 4" named SimSummer. For this project, gamers are invited to upload on their Instagram accounts the photos of their Sims enjoying various summer activities.

Also, in June, EA launched "The Sims 4 Perfect Patio Stuff" DLC which features summer-themed outdoor items such as a hot tub and grill.
