Tiger Woods is once again making headlines as rumors of infidelity as the cause of the breakdown of his relationship with longtime girlfriend Lindsey Vonn have surfaced. This time, however, even his professional life might actually be affected as the third party identified in their split is none other than the former wife of one of the golfer's buddies, Jason Dufner, according to Us Magazine.

"They've been having a steamy affair for several months," revealed an insider via Page Six. The source added, "When Lindsey found out about their affair in the early spring, she hit the roof and kicked Tiger to the curb!" Reports further revealed that Vonn has no patience when it comes to Woods' infidelity unlike the golfer's former wife, Elin Nordegen, who silently endured the issue for years before deciding to finally file for a divorce in 2010, according to Daily Mail.

The decision of Vonn to finally end her romantic relationship "devastated" the golfer to no end. "When Tiger realized he was seen, he became concerned and eventually he decided to confess to Lindsey. Something he didn't do with Elin. He came clean and I give him credit for that," an insider revealed. The source, claiming to be a close friend of the couple, added, "Yes, Tiger cheated again. But it wasn't with anyone special. He really wanted Lindsey to be the one. But he blew it again. He can't help himself. He's got an addiction. He relapsed."

The same friend shared that Woods might actually not see the issue as "cheating" per se since no romantic feelings were involved. The source revealed, "He doesn't even see it as cheating. It's just stress relief. It's hard for him to see that he's bad. Maybe he's not. He's not married to Lindsey. But he also won't get her back." The insider added, "She's another strong woman like Elin who respects herself too much."

Meanwhile, the alleged affair with Dufner's ex-wife, Amanda Boyd, was vehemently denied by Woods and his representative. "I couldn't deny this more vehemently," said Mark Steinberg to Golf Week during the Greenbrier Classic in White Sulphur Springs. He went on to insist, "There is less than zero strand of truth to it. 100 percent false. 100 percent fabricated and zero credence. Absolutely, unequivocally untrue. They are not even acquaintances. It's absolutely ridiculous."

Woods and Vonn started dating in 2012 following their first meeting during a charity event. The two eventually split and in an official statement released by Vonn, she cited that the decision to separate had been mutual and was made due to their busy schedules.
