Sony has officially named the free games that will be available through PlayStation Plus this month.

The roster, which was announced on the PlayStation Blog, includes four PlayStation 4 games and several other titles for the tech giant's other consoles.

First in the list is the upcoming game "Rocket League." Debuting on July 7 through PlayStation Plus, this title lets gamers play virtual soccer but with various types of vehicles. Using physics-based motions, gamers must launch a ball using rocket-powered cars into their opponent's goal to score points.

Joining "Rocket League" in the PS4 lineup is the stealth-based game "Styx: Master of Shadows." Released in October of last year, the game serves as a prequel to 2012's "Of Orcs and Men."

In this game, players take on the role of the Goblin Styx as he infiltrates the Tower of Akenash.

Rounding up the list for the PlayStation 4 are "MouseCraft" and "Entwined." These two are also available for the PlayStation 3 and Sony's handheld console, the PlayStation Vita.

Another game that will be available to PlayStation 3 owners is "Rain," which was released by Sony through the PlayStation Network in October 2013. This game follows the adventures of a young boy who has the ability to turn invisible. He can only be seen by those around him when he's standing in the rain.

Gamers must be able to utilize the main character's special ability to solve puzzles and accomplish various tasks without being seen.

The last game unveiled by Sony as a free PlayStation Vita game for PlayStation Plus members is the 2014 shooter, "Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions."

Subscribers will be able to access the free games through the PlayStation Plus starting on July 7.

Earlier this week, Sony celebrated the fifth anniversary of its gaming subscription services. To thank its supporters, the company will be giving away free limited edition gifts to all loyal members who have been with PlayStation Plus since it was launched in 2010.
