Acer has launched new laptop models designed for personal use and gaming activities.
These include the Aspire E5, Aspire V3 and the Aspire V Nitro Black Edition, NDTV reported.
The Aspire E5 is the company's budget-friendly laptop that comes in 14-inch and 15.6-inch display variants. It is powered by the 5th generation Intel Core processor and is equipped with the GeForce 920M Series graphics card from NVIDIA.
It has 2 ports for USB 3.0 and 1 for USB 2.0 well as an HDMI Out, multi-card reader and a DVD drive. The laptop packs 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage space.
For Acer's high-end laptop, the Aspire V3 features the Dolby Digital Plus Home Theater sound system. Like the Aspire E5, the V3 variant is also powered by Intel's 5th generation Intel Core processor. For its GPU, Acer equipped the Aspire V3 with the GeForce GTX840M from NVIDIA.
It has 2GB of DDR3 RAM which can be expanded to 16GB and 1TB of HDD storage space.
The Aspire V Nitro Black Edition, on the other hand, is a notebook specifically designed for heavy gamers. Its 15-inch screen supports 4K resolution and is layered by Acer's ComfyView non-glare technology.
It runs on a 4th generation Intel Core i7 processor and has the NVIDIA GeForce GTX960M GPU.
To ensure the quality performance of the notebook, Acer equipped it with DustDefender technology. This feature prevents the build-up of dust inside the notebook using its metal fan. In addition, the Acer V Nitro Black Edition also comes with CoolBoost technology that provides faster fan speeds to regulate the temperature of the device's CPU and GPU.
The Aspire E5 is priced at RS 26,499 or around $416 while the Aspire V3 series costs RS 43,499 or roughly $684. The Aspire V Nitro Black Edition, on the other hand, can be purchased for RS 110,000 or about $1,730. All three models will be available in India.
