"Suits" has made its comeback on the small screen with season five, and the new developments of the show have gotten both fans and its cast alike excited with how things will unfold for Harvey Specter, Louis Litt, Donna Paulsen, Mike Ross, Rachel Zane, and Jessica Pearson.

The last people saw of the characters, Donna (Sarah Rafferty) finally left her long-time work partner Harvey (Gabriel Macht) to go work for Louis (Rick Hoffman), much to the latter's delight, since he has been wooing Donna to work for him since season one.

Harvey and Donna have remained pretty solid from the very beginning, and it looked like nothing could ever mess up their partnership. However, certain events have changed the dynamics of Harvey and Donna's relationship so much so that Donna decided it would be best to move on.

When the new season open, Harvey was seen dealing with Donna's departure by seeking outside help.

"I imagine she'd be thrilled to find out he's in therapy," Rafferty told Just Jared. "Gobsmacked and thrilled. She is a strong woman, but he's her kryptonite in a lot of ways."

On the other hand, Macht was thrilled to see his character finally delve into unchartered territory. Harvey has always seemed so collected and composed no matter how tough his cases got, so admitting to a weakness - such as being unable to cope with abandonment -  is certainly something new for Harvey.

"It shifts the dynamic for season five and it gives us more space to figure out what that really means," said Macht. "It allows for Louis and Donna to work together and it allows Harvey to explore this bigger picture thing, which is where we're starting this season, as far as his abandonment issues."

He added, "Harvey is very cut-and-dry, says it like it is, and he uses his confidence to cover what's really going on inside of him. To see that character go through something that doesn't make him look like a superhero, I think is awesome. I think it's great to see the coolest guy on television break."

Meanwhile, Mike (Patrick J. Adams) and Rachel (Meghan Markle) took their relationship to the next level by getting engaged, but who knows how they'll fare when new issues confront them? Will work somehow get in the way? Jessica (Gina Torres) dealt with heartbreak during the last season, so her focus will stay with the firm. However, it seems like a new guy is keen on stirring up some trouble for the firm.
