Paul Feig's rebooted all-female "Ghostbusters" is already well under way, but the all-male "Ghostbusters" movie which will be led by Channing Tatum is unfortunately not meeting the same amount of development success - for now.

During an interview with Howard Stern, the actor admitted that things are pretty confusing as far as the all-male "Ghostbusters" is concerned, since Sony wants to wait and see how Feig's movie pans out first before green lighting the other one. It's definitely a go if Feig's movie is a success, but there's a chance that Tatum's "Ghostbusters" will be scrapped if the movie flops.

"That thing's gotten messy. I gotta be honest, there's a lot of people doing a lot of things on 'Ghostbusters.' I don't know," he said. "I would love to do it. There's a lot of people in the Ghostbusters pool right now."

"I think we're in a bit of a gestation period. I mean, that's a beloved movie by a lot of people, and then there's a lot of people that never saw the movie. I really think it's a half-and-half. As soon as they hear it's happening, half the people go 'Ah, what the? No. They cannot make that movie' and 'Oh yeah, I would love to see that. We're nowhere near going on the male 'Ghostbusters,'" the actor added.

During that same interview, Tatum went on to talk about his other projects, such as "G.I. Joe." He said that he will forever be grateful for the franchise for boosting his acting career, but he cannot help but be honest as to how he feels about "G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra."

"I'll be honest, I hate that movie. I was pushed into doing that movie," he said.

As a young actor, Tatum said he did not know any better, and so he pushed through with the franchise even though he thought the script was horrible.

Tatum added that he actually wanted to play Snake Eyes instead of Duke, and he was hesitant on doing a film of something that he was a fan of. "I watched it every morning growing up as a kid and I didn't want to do something that I thought was one - bad and second - I didn't know if I wanted to be G.I. Joe," he said. "But, I could have been given 'Scream 5'or something, so I'm super lucky and blessed to have been given that film."
