While issues concerning her big brother, Josh Duggar, rocked the entire family of "19 Kids and Counting," it appears that Jill Duggar Dillard is showing the world that they are striving to make things better. In a sweet and sentimental post for her father, Jim Bob Duggar, Jill made it clear among her fans and followers in social media that she remains respectful and loving to her dad despite the media frenzy attacking him for the course of action he took in relation to his son's errors.
In a report by Radar Online, it was revealed that Jill herself proclaimed to the world just how much she treasures her family especially her dad. Her Instagram announcement, posted on Father's Day, resonated this message and confirmed what fans of the show have known all along - the Duggar clan is still intact and might even be stronger than ever following the controversy involving Josh.
Jill posted in Instagram, "Happy #FathersDay Daddy! I am so blessed to have you as my dad and such a great example of Godly, humble leadership! I love you SO much!" She then added a bible quote to the message. She wrote, "Deuteronomy 6:6-9 - 'These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.'"
Apart from the bible passage, Jill included a quote from Billy Graham in her post. She said, "'A good father is one of the most unsung, unpraised, unnoticed, and yet one of the most valuable assets in our society.' -Billy Graham" The post also showed Jim Bob with Jill's son with husband Derick Dillard, baby Israel Dillard, as the grandfather proudly poses with the cute infant.
Since the wake of the scandal involving their brother, Josh, Jill and the other members of the Duggar family remained absent in the public eye. However, Saturday saw her and sister Jessa Duggar Seewald attend and talk in the ALIVE Christian Music Festival, according to Inquistr. The two talked about topics involving faith, marriage, and children. While no mention of Josh's "inappropriate" past actions were made during the event, Jill appeared to have subtly touched on the matter during her speech.
Jill said, "Hey we're not a perfect family, we mess up. Imagine what life is like with a family with two or three kids and multiply that about 10 times over and that's what you get."
