Colombia defender Camilo Zúñiga who was closely linked to Neymar’s back injury in the World Cup Quarterfinals said that the team “will give everything” despite the fact that “the match against Brazil will be hard.”
Brazil’s coach Dunga said in a recent interview that he is not worried about Neymar in Wednesday’s match. He said that during the World Cup, Zúñiga lost control of his coordination and did not purposely hurt Neymar. Dunga added that Neymar played against Colombia since the incident.
“We missed a lot of passes against Peru, which is normal for a debut as you're eager to get the win. Let's hone this, and let's hope it's a calmer match, with fewer fouls," said Dunga. “Colombia lost and is going to want to win. It will be a difficult game and we are going to try leave with another victory."
Copa America is played between 12 nations. The nations represented in 2015 are Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, Mexico, and Jamaica. The competition originally began in 1916 in Argentina. Currently, Uruguay holds the record for the most victories, having won 15 times.
