Ryan Murphy's highly anticipated horror comedy show "Scream Queens" starring Emma Roberts, Lea Michele and Jamie Lee Curtis has a brand new trailer that has gotten fans even more excited to get inside the Kappa sorority house.
The 32-seconds long trailer entitled "Die Tonight" showed Emma Roberts' character Chanel and her sorority sisters slash sidekicks looking down at their party with huge scowls on their faces. At the bottom of the staircase stands Lea Michele's awkward brace-toting character with her friends looking thrilled to be at the party.
A lot of preppy boys and girls are having fun at the party and making cheers as Jamie Lee Curtis' character watches over with concern.
Little do they know that outside the Kappa house stands a mysterious yet sinister looking character wearing a red devil mask. Towards the end, the masked figure wields out a knife with the intent to kill.
Apparently, the masked character is none other than the Red Devil, Wallace University's school mascot. Whoever is behind the mask is a serial killer who targets the pretty-in-pink sisters of the Kappa House sorority, and Murphy even teased that one character of "Scream Queens" will meet his or her end per episode.
Pop stars Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas will also be guest starring in the series, but Murphy has confirmed that "Scream Queens" will not be a musical.
Jonas will play Boone, a total frat boy who has "something else going on" in his life that will surely shock viewers. "I was drawn to him, because the idea about his character, at face value is one thing, but you find out later that there's something else going on. It's going to keep people on their toes. I can't tell you much, but it's full of surprises," he told Entertainment Weekly.
Jonas also admitted that he does not like scary movies, but he was drawn to "Scream Queens" because of its comedy aspect. "It's just funny and intriguing. Though we didn't get to read the script before we signed on, which is kind of rare. But with Ryan you just have to trust that it's going to be great," he said.
When asked if his character will survive the first few episodes, Jonas was hard-pressed for answers. The singer said that he wants nothing more than to share the details but it will ruin "Scream Queens" for fans, so he just asked everyone to "expect to be surprised."
