Electronics manufacturer OnePlus has launched two contests that will give three lucky winners the chance to exclusively see the company's 2 handset before it launches.
Aside from seeing the upcoming device, the winners will be flown to OnePlus' headquarters in Hong Kong and will take part in a project for the smartphone's launch, according to 9to5Google.
The first contest, named as the Photo Mania 2015, requires participants to submit photos that they have taken using their smartphones. However, as the main rule, these photos should be unedited and must be taken without filters.
Those who wish to join can upload their photos on their Instagram accounts with the tag @oneplustech. Each image must be accompanied by a description of how it was taken. This includes the shot's lighting, camera settings and other conditions.
10 finalists will be chosen by OnePlus based on popularity or the number of "likes" their photos received on Instagram. Then, a final winner will be selected by the community through votes.
For the second contest, dubbed as the Your OnePlus Story, participants must shoot an original video showing how much they love the company. Basically, the clip should revolve around the things that users like about the OnePlus One and what their expectations for its successor.
The videos will be judged based on their overall quality, originality, creativity and production. 10 finalists will be chosen for this contest. One winner will be picked by a panel of judges from the OnePlus staff while the other one will be selected by the community.
As for the remaining eight runner-ups, they will receive gift bags from the company and their videos will be used for a special project being planned for the launch if the OnePlus 2. Participants can submit their original videos through this link.
The three winners of the two contests will get an all-expense-paid trip to Hong Kong to visit OnePlus's headquarters. They will be given a chance to see the upcoming smartphone as well as take part in its launch.
Both contests are scheduled to end on June 15.
