LG has just released its latest smartphone from its Disney-themed line of devices.
Named as the LG DM-01G, the handset features the iconic Mickey Mouse logo and Swarovski crystals.
The company's latest device was officially released on June 8 exclusively through the Japanese mobile carrier NTT DoCoMo. As an exclusive release, the special handset is only available in Japan, according to Android Authority.
The LG DM-01G sports a flip cover similar to the Quick Circle cases that comes with the company's G series handsets. The top portion of the handset features a cut-out in the shape of the head of Disney's most popular character, Mickey Mouse.
This opened portion of the casing lets users see information from the smartphone's screen, such as the time and date, without opening the cover. Below the cut-out are swirling Swarovski crystals that seem to be rising from the iconic Disney castle design located at the bottom portion of the handset's cover.
Currently, the device is available in various color variants such as pink, white and blue.
As for the device's specs, the LG DM-01G sports a 5.2-inchfull HD IPS display with a resolution of 1080 by 1920 pixels. It packs 2GB of RAM and 16B of internal storage. The device features a 13-megapixel rear camera with laser autofocus and a 2.4-megapixel front shooter.
For its processor, LG equipped the Disney-inspired handset with the Snapdragon 801 chipset from Qualcomm. The device runs on a removable 2,929mAh battery pack.
The LG DM-01G runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop with the company's own LG UX, which comes with a variety of Disney-inspired themes such as "The Little Mermaid," "Cinderella," "Alice in Wonderland" and "Frozen," Phone Arena reported.
Based on the listed specs, many users noted that the LG DM-01G almost has the same features as the LG G3, which came out in May of last year. The only major differences between the two are the screen size and resolution settings.
