Harry Potter alum and UN ambassadress for gender equality Emma Watson is going to take audiences into a fearsome and thrilling journey come August 28, 2015 when her new movie "Regression" will be released on cinemas.

In the new "Regression" poster, which was released by TWC-Dimension, Watson's character was seen fearfully looking back to something - a horrific past, maybe? A bad man in pursuit? On top there is an ominous warning that says: "Fear always finds the victim."

"Regression," which she co-stars with Ethan Hawke is directed by Academy Award-winning director Alejandro Amenábar ('The Sea Inside,' 'The Others') and is set in Minnesota back in 1990, according to Coming Soon.

The movie follows detective Bruce Kenner (Hawke) as he investigates the case of young Angela (Watson), who accuses her father, John Gray (David Dencik) for forcing her to do an unspeakable crime.

The case takes on a surprising twist when John unexpectedly and without recollection admits guilt, so renowned psychologist Dr. Raines (David Thewlis) is brought in to help him relive his memories. However, what they end up uncovering ends up being a terrifying nationwide mystery.

The film also stars Dale Dickey, Lothaire Bluteau and Devon Bostick, while the creative team includes production designer Carol Spier, director of photography Daniel Aranyó, costume designer Sonia Grande, casting directors Jina Jay, and VFX supervisor Felix Bergés.

"Regression" is based on Amenabar's original screenplay, and is produced by MOD Entertainment, MOD Producciones, Himenóptero, First Generation Films, and Telefónica Studios in association with FilmNation Entertainment, with the participation of Telefilm Canada and in collaboration with Mediaset España.

Watson's next project, on the other hand, would be completely different from her work in "Regression." She will be starring as the bookish Belle in Disney's live fairy tale adaptation of "Beauty and the Beast," which also stars "Downton Abbey" alum Dan Stevens as Beast, "The Hobbit" actor Luke Evans, Josh Gad, Emma Thompson, and many others.

The actress happily announced her role as Belle on her Facebook page, calling it nothing short of a dream come true.

"I'm finally able to tell you that I will be playing Belle in Disney's new live-action Beauty and the Beast!" she wrote. "It was such a big part of my growing up, it almost feels surreal that I'll get to dance to 'Be Our Guest' and sing 'Something There'. My six year old self is on the ceiling - heart bursting. Time to start some singing lessons. I can't wait for you to see it."

Disney's previous live action movie is "Cinderella," which starred another "Downton Abbey" alum Lily James and "Game of Thrones" actor Richard Madden.
