It is quite difficult to translate the images from comic books into the big screen, but Warner Bros.' "Suicide Squad" seems to be doing pretty fine thus far.
Fans have been pretty satisfied with how the fictional characters look based on the set photos released by the studio, and the latest ones they have provided showed Will Smith's character Deadshot in full costume, with his face covered by his trademark white mask. He also has on the targeting monocle over his left eye, which is somewhat different since in the comic books, it's supposed to be over his right eye, noted Screen Rant.
The other photo showed the complete "Suicide Squad" cast. Aside from Smith's Deadshot, it also showed his "Focus" co-star Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, and Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc.
The only one missing is Jared Leto's Joker, which is one of the group's more popular characters.
"Suicide Squad" is still in development, and it will not be released in cinemas until August 5, 2016, but there is no quelling fans' excitement over the movie.
The plot rumors about the movie point at a scenario where the team is taken from incarceration by Amanda Waller. They have to complete a mission involving securing a bio weapon, that may or may not be a psychic girl named Enchantress (played by Cara Delevigne).
To make things even more interesting (and in order to connect one DC movie to another), the said bio mass weapon might be delivered to Lex Luthor (played by Jesse Eisenberg).
As expected, thing do not go as expected, and the Enchantress' psychic powers might just end up messing up with the entire anti-heroic Suicide Squad.
At the same time, there is also a huge chance that Ben Affleck's Batman would be appearing in a cameo in the movie. This is what Latino Review reporter El Mayimbe shared on his social media account.
On his Instagram account, he wrote about details concerning the Batman cameo and warned about spoilers: "According to sources, in the film Batman is some sort of big boogeyman that the government REALLY hates."
"They have footage of Batman in action which they watch. There is a bit of dialogue where they say Batman is the key to tracking down all 'the supers.' Very cool stuff," guaranteed Mayimbe.
