An online retailer has revealed the exact specs and design of Samsung's Galaxy J7 handset.
Although details of the smartphone are yet to be confirmed by the South Korean tech giant, the retailer is already accepting pre-orders for the device, according to NDTV.
The Galaxy J7 was spotted on the Kazakhstan-based online shopping site Alser. Based on the listed features, the handset sports a 5.5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. It also packs a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter.
For its processor, the Galaxy J7 is equipped with a 1.2GHz octa-core Marvell PXA1936 chipset. The device has 1.5GB of RAM and offers 16GB of internal storage which can be pushed up to 128GB through a microSD card.
As listed by Alser, the device runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and is only available in the white color variant.
Consumers can pre-order the device through the site for KZT 49,990 which is around $270. However, Alser noted that the Galaxy J7 is expected to go on sale sometime in August.
Despite the information provided by the online retailer, tech news site Value Walk pointed out that Samsung has not yet announced the official launch date or the specifications of the smartphone.
In addition, since Alser is a third-party online seller, it is not yet clear if the listed price of the device is accurate.
Rumors about the Galaxy J7 emerged in April of this year after GSM Arena leaked some of its features along with those of its other variants, the J3 and J5.
Although the site mentioned back then that the Galaxy J7 will come with a 5.5-inch display and 1.5GB of RAM, its speculation regarding an 8GB of built-in storage contradicts the listing posted by Alser.
Then, in May, GSM Arena reported that both the Galaxy J7 and J5 received Bluetooth certifications from Chinese documentation authority TENAA.
