Muggles from Hollywood are soon going to experience the magic that is brought by "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter," since countdown has already begun at Universal Studios Hollywood for its Spring 2016 opening.
According to Coming Soon, one of its most anticipated attractions is the hyper-realistic 3D-HD ride called "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey."
Harry Potter's world in Universal Studios has been five years in the making, and is inspired by the world that has been created by J.K. Rowling. "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" is already open at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Japan, and is expected to attract more Harry Potter fans and visitors from all over the globe for many more years to come.
Larry Kurzweil, President of Universal Studios Hollywood is pretty excited about its opening, and has nothing but praises for the world that Rowling managed to create.
"Harry Potter is an exhilarating multi-generational global phenomenon that has captivated the world's attention across every one of its mediums, from books and movies to exhilarating theme park adventures," he said. "With its imminent arrival to The Entertainment Capital of L.A., Universal Studios Hollywood is thrilled to bring our guests a new, compelling experience of 'The Wizarding World of Harry Potter' as we embark on this next chapter in our storied history."
Meanwhile, Brad Globe, who is President of Warner Bros. Consumer Products said that the opening of "The Wizarding World of Harry Potter" in Hollywood could not be more timely.
"The momentum behind J.K. Rowling's wizarding world is as strong as ever and we are incredibly excited to bring Hogwarts to Hollywood," he said. "Fans around the world have experienced the magic at 'The Wizarding World of Harry Potter' in Orlando and Osaka and we look forward to continued success with our partners at Universal Studios Hollywood as we offer more fans a chance to step into this immersive environment."
Aside from "Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey," they will also be bringing another signature ride, the enchanting family coaster called "Flight of the Hippogriff." It will debut as Universal Studios Hollywood's first outdoor coaster.
Not to be outdone are the shops and other establishments known to Harry Potter fanatics, such as the Three Broomsticks, Hog's Head pub, Magic Neep, and Butterbeer carts. There will also be Honeydukes, Ollivanders, Owl Post, Zonko's Joke Shop, Wiseacre's Wizarding Equipment, Dervish and Banges, Gladrags Wizardwear and Filch's Emporium of Confiscated Goods.
