Kim Kardashian appears to be on a roll these days as the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star wowed the public in the beautifully designed dress she wore during the CFDA Awards on Monday at the Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall in New York City, according to Hollywood Life.
Arriving with husband Kanye West, Kim looked stunning in the custom made Proenza Schouler sheer dress she wore for the event. Prior to attending the ceremony, the KUWTK star gave a heads up to her fans and followers about her appearance at the CFDA Awards. She posted on Twitter, "Heading to @CFDA awards! Wearing the sickest custom dress from @proenzaschouler !!!!!"

The news of Kim's appearance in the said event was heightened even more by her announcement the day before. In the Sunday episode of her reality show with Kris Jenner, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Kourtney Kardashian, and the rest of their family and friends, Kim revealed that she is pregnant with Baby No. 2, based on a report by Us Magazine. The announcement came after months of trying to conceive and give her first child with hubby Kanye, North West, a sibling to play with. While Kim admitted to being quite ill due to her pregnancy, she still made sure to not back out from her commitment to the CFDA. During the awards ceremony, the reality star was the one who awarded the CFDA Media Award to Instagram founder Kevin Systrom. According to Hollywood Reporter, the decision to choose Kim as the person to award Systrom's title was only fitting since the KUWTK star has 33.3 million followers in Instagram. Unsurprisingly, Kim also made the announcement of her role in the CFDA Awards via Instagram.
In a separate report from Us Magazine, Kim disclosed that she has been suffering from "really bad morning sickness, day sickness, night sick." She went on to say that she could "barely get out of bed." Despite the struggles, Kim revealed that she and Kanye remain grateful for this second pregnancy. She said, "It's a very different type of pregnancy from my first one, but I'm so grateful to be pregnant when we didn't even think it was going to happen for us [so] I don't care how sick I am."
Meanwhile, Kim shared in the July issue of Glamour how much her life has changed since North came into her life. She said, "My best friend told me, 'You'll never remember what your life was like before her, but it'll be OK.'" She then added, North has taught me patience. There's nothing I wouldn't do for her. And nothing I wouldn't do for my husband. She's empowered us to want to be the best parents and the best spouses."
