Jurassic World star Chris Pratt is one doting father to his and wife Anna Faris' son Jack, and in honor of Memorial Day, the hot Hollywood actor tried to teach his son the Pledge of Allegiance.
He shared the 34 second clip on Facebook and wrote, "Meant to post this on #MemorialDay but I was in China and my phone wasn't working. I'm proud to be American. I'm blessed to get to travel the world!"
In the video, Pratt recited the Pledge of Allegiance while his son followed suit. In the end, he commended his son, "Good job!" and gave him a firm handshake.
Pratt earlier told GQ Magazine in an interview that he and Faris both dream of having a huge family, since they both enjoyed having siblings of their own. However, there are some things the couple needs to consider first.
"Jack should have the gift of a little person to push around, whether we have kids or potentially have a surrogate or adopt kids. He was premature, and Anna's 38, so the idea of going through that again-that was tough, and I think, like, that's something to truly consider," he said.
As a father, Pratt knows he has a lot of things to live up to. One of the things he would have to do is find a good balance between work and family life. And given his rising star in Hollywood, it will definitely be hard. The actor has reportedly been tapped to star as the next Indiana Jones and appear in the Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World sequels.
"I have a feeling I'll be tested and I'll have to prove to him that he's more important to me than show business," said Pratt, "and I feel I'll be ready to pass that test. You know, if it means not being Indiana Jones or if it means turning down a big paycheck so that I can go camping for the weekend, being difficult with my contract so that I can be let out, and it means the quality of the film goes down because I'm not there to give everything, then so be it."
Pratt admitted that he would not mind so much if it meant that he would be retiring early and getting a ranch somewhere and go bird hunting. "That's kind of what I secretly want to do anyways, so that'll be sweet," he laughingly said.
